A directional overcurrent relay is commonly used to protect the power distribution networks of a distributed system. The selection appropriate settings for relays an important component protection strategies isolate faulty parts rapid growth generation (DG) systems present new challenges these schemes. effect solar photovoltaic plants on coordination studied initially in this research work. strategy was formulated guarantee that increased penetration (PV) does not affect time. This paper addresses issues associated with high DG through use hybrid scheme. divided into two parts. first part based optimal fault current limiter value estimated respect constraints and time multiplier setting, then interval constraint Part II. results analyses show scheme can effectively handle complexity dynamic problems. In research, three optimization algorithms have been calculating impedance (Zfcl) setting (TMS). response schemes very important. If computational their proposed less than actual time, address issue also less. performance all identified arrive at conclusion grey wolf optimized algorithm (GWO) substantially reduce needed implement algorithms. GWO takes 0.946 s, achieving its feasible solution 1 s.
